Honestly, Gold was really to my surprise today. That was why I didn't clear my position in time, according to my experience, today FOMC's decision should greatly benefit Gold. And I have the similar opinion, so tried again at 1699 tonight. I will go to bed soon, hopefully I have good luck.

Yes, gold is very tricky, even though it still follows Elliott Wave Principle, the movement is usually very swift and catch everybody by surprise. I always try my best to stay away from it.

I believe the false break out at 1717 and the drop from 1723 is a combination to lure and kill all the bulls. If correct, gold should rise as early as this late afternoon.

For the wave structure from 1.2875 and up, if you refer to post #92, it is not an impulse in my opinion, instead it is a correction in W-X-Y form. So technically there is no wave 5. I will try to draw up a chart to illustrate this once I have a chance. As far as the current break out of 1.3100, price action is expected to stay within the channel, which is 1.3170 the most at this point.
