December 11: After a good bit of volatility overnight, the market is not paying
too much attention to the mixed bag of US data. The slow down in the labor      
market recovery  is troubling for the long-term health of the broad economy and
should not be ignored, however. This will help fortify the "buy the dips"      
mentality.                                                                     
  Significant bids are seen building toward the 1.2100/10 area, dealers report  
while offers are collecting near 1.2200. An extended period of consolidation may
be afoot now that the short-term uptrend has been snapped. --
