Actually, I got degrees ( Maths, Finance ) from UK and I am very interested in research work on financial markets. (Actually it is my carreer !). The wave count is part of non-linear dynamic from our point of view. The Elliot wave theory, if used properly and objectively , can simplify our non-linear model by horrible non-linear differential equations. It is a tool.

After 2008 financial crisis, I switched to Futures and FX. I find FX markets is more efficient, i.e., cannot be manipulated by pools. Even we can not predict the market with certainty and high accuracy, there are ways to make profit. Profitibility and Predictability are totally diffferent. Now our short positions are in the money now.
