MT4可能只适用于windows系统，Linux不清楚是否可以。
另外，直接去安装文件夹里点击 terminal.exe文件，一样的图标。试一下。

I think the problem is my window 98.  I cannot find the file terminal.exe
but I got a few terminal files.  

I can download MT3.8 but I don't want to use it , I want MT4.

I think I don't want to waste your time and thank you very much for your help Leonardo 1977.

By the way can you tell me how to input "Quote" in our reply thanks

另外,好象MT4与WIN系统无关,98也可以安装MT4的.
可能在安装时,同时开着其他程序,出现了问题.

I uninstalled the MT4 and I deleted all the MT files in my programme as well as the icons on the desk top.  I close all the  programmes and I connect to the www.forexua.com and download the demo account once again.  Finally I got the terminal. exe with an icon that has two graphic pictures at the back of a doll.  Then I click on it but still has no response.  I really don't know what's going wrong or missing out.  There is no demo account registration for me to fill in just as the MT3.8.  It is completely no response.

Maybe you click a wrong icon.
It is dangerous for a newbie to format C disk and reinstall new windows XP operation system, but I suggest you  find a technician to update your windows,because now many softwares require XP configuration to achieve high performance.
